The angry face with horns emoji is almost identical to the smiling face with horns one except that – you guessed it!! – it has an angry rather than a smiling face! Depending on the platform or device used, it appears either red, orange or purple, but all versions have distinct horns protruding from the forehead. Although it is angrier looking – of course – when compared to its smiling cousin, it is still often used in a light-hearted, not altogether serious way. It can be used to express anger or disappointment in something or someone, but generally not for something major or particularly severe. It’s often used as a symbol of Halloween and Halloween parties.
